Terms of Service

By booking or attending a class, workshop or private session with Openselections you agree to these Terms of Service. Sessions are offered for general fitness and wellbeing; they are not a substitute for medical advice. You must disclose any medical conditions or injuries prior to participation.

We reserve the right to amend class timetables, instructors and prices. Notice of material changes will be published on our website or communicated to enrolled clients.

Australian Consumer Law & Refunds

Openselections complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Your consumer rights under ACL are not limited by our policies. This means where a service or product has a major failure you are entitled to a remedy such as a refund or replacement.

Our standard policy for casual class passes and multi-class packs is set out in the accordion. Credits may be offered at our discretion for cancelled classes; refunds are provided where ACL requires.

Students must cancel bookings by the cutoff specified on their booking confirmation to receive a credit. Late cancellations or ***-shows may forfeit the class credit.

If Openselections cancels a class, affected participants will be offered a credit or transfer to another session. Where a class cannot be provided at all, refunds will be issued in accordance with ACL.

Class packs have expiry terms indicated at purchase. Unused classes after expiry may not be refundable except where required by ACL.

Liability, health & indemnity

Participation is voluntary. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Openselections excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you may have under ACL which cannot be lawfully excluded.

If you have existing medical conditions, injuries, or are pregnant, consult a medical practitioner before attending. You must inform staff of any condition that may affect your participation.

Intellectual Property

All content on openselections.com including text, images, logos and class sequences are the property of Openselections or licensed third parties and are protected by copyright and trademark. You may not reproduce our content without permission.

Complaints & dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us at Openselections@gmail.com or via mail at 12 Brook Street, Richmond VIC 3121. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and resolve them promptly.

If matters cannot be resolved, parties may seek remedies under Australian law or through an accredited external dispute resolution body. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
